Amazon Prime premiered the new series: A League of Their Own in Rockford, Illinois. A huge celebration was held in downtown Rockford. Free to all residents, the event included themed games, food and beverages, live music, dancing, and an opportunity to create a customized baseball card with Shutterbox Entertainment. The series creator, director, and actors were on hand for the event which ended with and exclusive screening of episode 1, followed by a Q&A.
Shutterbox worked with Amazon Prime Video’s marketing team to create a fun throw-back baseball card. Guests could choose their favorite team colors as a background, dress up in era themed attire, and customize the card with their own name. The 2-sided cards were delivered to the guests in collectable baseball card sleeves, with digital copies shared from a custom designed microsite.
