ShutterBox Entertainment takes part in well over 1,500 special events every year, producing well over 450,000 photo strips per year. Being a part of that many events every year gives us an amazing insight to events of all types and budgets. We would like to share our experiences with you, especially those interesting and unique new trends, old trends, must haves and have you seen moments!
We’ll start off this new section with an excerpt from our last newsletter. Are you contemplating adding a prop box to your photo booth? We get the question all the time, are props really necessary? A prop box offers your guests a unique opportunity to get crazy at your event. Whether hats, glasses, wigs, boas or mustaches, a prop box will ensure that your guests photos are truly unique. Ultimately this decision is up to the the party hosts, but here are some statistics based on ShutterBox’s experience. Approximately 40% of ShutterBox reservations include an order for a prop box. During those events roughly 50% of your guests will use the prop box. Our suggestion is that props are not for every event, however at ShutterBox’s low rate of $50, you just may make that guests’ night who is expecting it!
