Many thanks to all who came out and made ShutterBox a smash at last night’s Arizona Foothills “Face of Foothills 2011Model Search” at Scottsdale Fashion Square; and congratulations to Stephanie Mannon of Gilbert, whose face will appear on the cover of the upcoming issue of Arizona Foothills magazine. Thanks especially to Claire Perkins at Arizona Foothills magazine who arranged this wonderful event for us.
One might be surprised that in a room filled with beautiful models a couple of short guys in black shirts could attract any attention at all ; but give those guys a Shutterbox photo booth and you’d be amazed what can happen! More than a hundred young ladies from across the country participated in the event, and each was, naturally, very eager to be photographed with family and friends. Even mall-goers who hadn’t come for the event were stopping by and poking their heads in the booth. Great fun had by all.

Shutterbox Los Angeles @ ‘Festival of Health’

On October 10, 2010 AARP California and United Health Care promoted a day of health with their “Festival of Health – A Family Celebration” at the Pueblo del Sol Community Center. ShutterBox Los Angeles had the privilege of being part of the celebration; everyone had a great time in our photo booth! The festival gave the local residents an opportunity to receive free health screenings, health workshops, and workout classes. Best Buy set up the WiFit for the attendees to try out.

Shutterbox Milwaukee supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure

ShutterBox Photo Booth Milwaukee had the privilege of taking part in The 2010 Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. This impressive event took place in front of the Milwaukee Art Museum and race participants enjoyed some beautiful fall weather while walking or running along the Milwaukee Lakefront. A record 16,000 people participated in this event, ShutterBox Milwaukee enjoyed snapping photo’s throughout the day! The guests received custom Race for the Cure photos. A special thanks to the Southeast Wisconsin Susan G. Komen for organizing such a successful event.

Shutterbox Chicago recently had the pleasure of snapping photos at the recent “Wild Orchid World Wide” Celebrity Fashion Show and Charity Auction. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Lupus Research Institute of Chicago. Among the celebrities in attendance were NFL Chicago Bears wifes including Kara Olsen, Actor Vince Vaughn’s mother Shea Vaughn, wife Kyla Vaughn and others. The event included an incredible fashion show, live music, open bar and delicious sushi spread provided by RA.

Star 96.7, Shutterbox at Konows Corn Maze

Shutterbox Chicago partners with Star 96.7 for a day of fun at Konow’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Homer Glen, Il. Thousands turned out to enjoy 3.5 miles of twists and turns through the 10 foot high 10 acre corn maze. In addition to the crazy corn maze, families enjoyed a petting zoo, straw playground, hay rides, huge corn pit, tryke track, duck races and more!! Konow’s is open now through October 30th. Shutterbox would like to thank Star 96.7 and Konow’s for making Shutterbox a part of the fun!

The Harold Pump Foundation annual Gala

The Harold Pump Foundation’s annual Gala, honoring Hank Aaron, Denzel Washington, Muhammad Ali and Joseph Brandmeyer, kicked off with a VIP Welcome Reception and live auction on August 11, 2010 at the Hyatt Century Plaza in Beverly Hills. This is the 10th year the Pump Brothers, David and Dana Pump, have put on the Celebrity Golf Tournament and Dinner. The foundation raises money “to combat cancer by creating awareness, establishing treatment programs, and helping to find a cure for this terrible disease.”
The live auction included football, basketball, and baseball memorabilia. Guests were served cocktails with Kettle One vodka that poured through ice sculptures replicating Kettle One bottles. Guests also had an opportunity to sample mini bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes, sample Pop’s Chips, and take fun photos in a ShutterBox photo booth! The event was a huge success!

Other sponsors included: Coca-Cola, Skecher’s Shape-Ups, Red Bull, Nestle, Equinox, and OneHope Wine. A special thanks for including ShutterBox in such a successful event!

Guests enjoyed a Dinner Reception, prior to the show and continued the evening at the ‘Get Wicked’ after party. The Big Heart Paddle & ShutterBox South Florida

On August 21, 2010, ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida is proud to announce that we will be taking part in The Big Heart Paddle. Below includes detailed information about the event as well as information regarding The Bravery Beads Foundation. We hope to see you at the event!

The Big Heart Paddle will provide an engaging and entertaining way for the young adults of South and Central Florida area to support a very special charity organization through a “paddle race” that will be held at the Miami Yacht Club. The race will begin at the Miami Yacht Club’s beach. Participants can choose either a 3-mile or 5-mile voyage around Palm Island and Star Island. There will be a pre-race coffee and breakfast, DJ, and a photo booth with a custom graphic to allow guests to remember their experience through fun photographs. A “LEBO” decorated paddle will be auctioned off and a variety of beverages will be available to guests, including beer and liquor. Bravery Bead jewelry will be given to the first fifty registered entries. The Big Heart Paddle welcomes any and all paddle methods and all types of vessels and floats. Participants are welcome to bring their own vessels; paddleboards will be available to contestants who do not have their own. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded. The purpose of the Big Heart Paddle is to raise money and awareness for the Bravery Beads Foundation. The Foundation provides improves the quality of life for children battling cancer or other life-threatening illnesses through their Bravery Beads program which is being implemented in hospitals and treatment center throughout the country. The child receives a necklace with special beads to commemorate milestones in their journey to recovery. After the race, the Bravery Beads Foundation will be presented with a donation demonstrating appreciation for the important role they are playing to raise the morale for sick children.

ShutterBox Phoenix was privileged to be included in The Gap’s Outlet SMC conference at the Phoenician Resort on June 28th. Guest enjoyed some customized prints from ShutterBox, delicious food, and a beautiful June evening on the patio of the Phoenician’s Relish restaurant on June 28th. Gap Outlet employees from all over the country got to see firsthand what the ShutterBox experience is all about.

Hungry Girl Happy Hour Launch Party…All Aboard!

Aboard the Hornblower’s “Dream On” yacht, ShutterBox Los Angeles helped Hungry Girl celebrate the launch of her newest book Hungry Girl Happy Hour (out in stores today – June 22, 2010). While “Dream On” cruised the Marina Del Rey harbor, guests had an awesome time picking through the prop box to take silly pictures in our photo booth. Hungry Girl’s guests had the chance to sample her cocktail recipes, such as “Kick’in Key Lime Pie Martini,” “Mojito Madness,” and “Super Sour Lemon Drop,” (all with less calories than the original drinks). Through out the night guests also played black jack and roulette. For having the most tickets, one lucky casino winner went home with a Hungry Girl iPod Nano!
