Desire2Learn closed out their annual Virtual School Symposium at the Renaissance Glendale with an 80’s-themed “Wear Your Sunglasses at Night” party featuring the services of Shutterbox Arizona and one of the limitlessly-talented 176 Keys Dueling Pianos acts. A very special thanks to Meaghan Kay, who took great care of us and made organizing a business convention look as easy as brewing a pot of coffee.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly sixty-five exhausted conventioneers can, on a work night no less, become animated party-hardies with a little help from a wig-and-prop-loaded photo booth–not to mention a piano duo delivering all the party classics from the last twenty-five years (except for Corey Hart). The evening was good crazy fun for all from start to finish!
