Shutterbox @ MLB All-Star Game Gala

Thanks to everyone for coming out and seeing us at the MLB All-Star Game Gala last week, and a very special thanks to Laurie Trell with Kreate Inc for including us at such an awesome event. After leaving the Home Run Derby, almost five thousand baseball fans from all over the country were treated to a relaxing, stylish party that featured complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks, our two photo booths—oh yea, and a Cee-Lo concert! Major League Baseball certainly knows how to take good care of its fans.

Decked out with a customized MLB design, the photo booths had more than a little touch of Hollywood—with red carpets and theatre ropes provided by our hosts. The Derby-goers all got a kick out of it, as we had lines reaching across the auditorium all evening! Thanks again to all who came out and made this such a memorable event.

ShutterBox Arizona partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital held their 2^nd Annual Friends of St. Jude Sugar Ball on Saturday April 16^th and ShutterBox Arizona was there to capture the fun! The Sugar Ball is sweets-themed young professionals networking event and fundraiser with proceeds benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year’s Sugar Ball raised nearly $5,000 St. Jude is a matter of hours!

SJCRH is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with pediatric cancer and other catastrophic diseases. For others interested in donating time, money, or services to such a worthy cause, you can donate by clicking here or you can connect with them on Facebook to find out about other upcoming St. Jude charity events.

ShutterBox Arizona will be partnering with St. Jude for future events as well. Shutterbox & Embellish Your Events, Phoenix Arizona

Congratulations to John and Valerie Parzych! Shutterbox PHX was pleased to be on-hand at Paradise Valley’s sumptuous Montelucia Resort & Spa for another of Embellish Your Event’s elegant and elaborate weddings! Our co-coordinators Jessica and Rebecca bent over backward in every way accommodating us and all other vendors throughout the evening (e.g. a vegetarian meal spontaneously appeared out of nowhere for me). Thank you so much for such a professional environment– we hope to work with you folks again soon.

I was tickled to death when midway through the evening, a guest, whose daughter’s own wedding had featured one of our booths, informed us she was going back into the ceremony to make an announcement on our behalf; I have no idea what she said, but five minutes later we were swarmed with eager, photo-hungry guests, and stayed swarmed for pretty much the evening’s duration. Thank you for the VERY effective plug, Ma’am!

Desire2Learn Celebrates in Arizona!

Desire2Learn closed out their annual Virtual School Symposium at the Renaissance Glendale with an 80’s-themed “Wear Your Sunglasses at Night” party featuring the services of Shutterbox Arizona and one of the limitlessly-talented 176 Keys Dueling Pianos acts. A very special thanks to Meaghan Kay, who took great care of us and made organizing a business convention look as easy as brewing a pot of coffee.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly sixty-five exhausted conventioneers can, on a work night no less, become animated party-hardies with a little help from a wig-and-prop-loaded photo booth–not to mention a piano duo delivering all the party classics from the last twenty-five years (except for Corey Hart). The evening was good crazy fun for all from start to finish!

Face of Foothills 2011 Model Search

Many thanks to all who came out and made ShutterBox a smash at last night’s Arizona Foothills “Face of Foothills 2011Model Search” at Scottsdale Fashion Square; and congratulations to Stephanie Mannon of Gilbert, whose face will appear on the cover of the upcoming issue of Arizona Foothills magazine. Thanks especially to Claire Perkins at Arizona Foothills magazine who arranged this wonderful event for us.
One might be surprised that in a room filled with beautiful models a couple of short guys in black shirts could attract any attention at all ; but give those guys a Shutterbox photo booth and you’d be amazed what can happen! More than a hundred young ladies from across the country participated in the event, and each was, naturally, very eager to be photographed with family and friends. Even mall-goers who hadn’t come for the event were stopping by and poking their heads in the booth. Great fun had by all.

ShutterBox Phoenix was privileged to be included in The Gap’s Outlet SMC conference at the Phoenician Resort on June 28th. Guest enjoyed some customized prints from ShutterBox, delicious food, and a beautiful June evening on the patio of the Phoenician’s Relish restaurant on June 28th. Gap Outlet employees from all over the country got to see firsthand what the ShutterBox experience is all about.

ShutterBox Phoenix was excited to be a part of PetSmart’s “Around the World 2010″ employee fair at their Phoenix headquarters on April 22nd. ShutterBox Phoenix provided two photo booths and custom graphic design for this event. Along with the ability to take ShutterBox photos, PetSmart employees and their families had access to numerous varieties of food as well as access to a petting zoo, inflatable castles, carnival type rides, and numerous other fun items. ‘Dress for Success’ Opens in Phoenix…

Dress for Success, an international non-profit organization which recently opened a Phoenix branch, held their Soiree for Success gala at the FireSky Hotel & Resort on Thursday February 11, 2010. ShutterBox Entertainment was there to help welcome this wonderful charitable organization to the Phoenix area.

Guests at the Soiree for Success were treated to instant photography from ShutterBox, chair massages from Jurlique Spa Specialists, make-up consultations by Bobbi Brown make-up artists, as well as a fabulous fashion show featuring hair designs by Avalon School of Cosmetology.

Brandon Stacy of ShutterBox Entertainment remarked “This event was a great way for Dress For Success to kick off their Phoenix operations. This is a wonderful organization that is already positively impacting the lives of women in our communities and we hope to partner with them again in the future.”
