ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida is pleased to announce exciting developments with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families with critically ill children receiving treatment at any South Florida pediatric hospital.
ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida will take part in the 7th Annual Home for the Holidays event on December 4, 2010 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Attendees are invited to kick off the Holiday season with a lighting ceremony at the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Lauderdale. This will be a night full of live entertainment, music, raffle and silent auction prizes, tastings from different local restaurants and activities for the children and the entire family!
The funds raised on this event will directly support the ongoing operation of the Ronald MCDonald House in South Florida. Last year’s event generated more than $62,000. This year, radio partner Power 96, will transmit their Saturday night show live from the House.
Additionally, ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida would like to announce our participation in the Ronald McDonald House Pop Tab Program and Adopt a Meal Program.
The Pop Tab Program has been created to help generate funds for the Ronald McDonald House of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Did you know that little insignificant tab you pull to open your can of soda is able to make a significant impact on fundraising? Believe it or not, the metal alloy contained in the pop tab is more valuable than the entire rest of the can. The pop tabs will be recycled in bulk and the money raised will go right back to the Ronald McDonald House. Almost any kind of pop tab counts – soda, beer, tuna fish, fruit cocktail, soups – you get the picture! 1 Million pop tabs, when recycled, will provide a nights lodging for 25 familes at The Ronald McDonald House. Ask us how you can take part in our collection!
The Adopt a Meal Program ensures that families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Miami and/or Fort Lauderdale have home cooked and nutritious meals without taking precious time away from their children. On ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida’s designated day, we will be preparing either a breakfast, lunch or dinner for approximately 25 to 30 people which we will prepare on site and share some time with the families. Ask us how you can take part in the Adopt a Meal program as well!
