On Saturday November 6, 2010, ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida was out at the Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon with popchips.  Racers, family, friends and fans all had the opportunity to sample multiple flavors of popchips and take unlimited photos in the popchips branded ShutterBox Photo Booth.

What is a popchip?  Not fried, not baked, you guessed it, popped!  Popped means over half of the fat, cholesterol and trans fats are missing versus fried chips and it’s all natural too.  7 flavors were available for tasting, our favorites were sea salt & vinegar and sour cream & onion, but you be the judge, go out and grab a bag for yourself!

The Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon was a 26.2 mile longboard race set to promote health & fitness, as well as the lifestyle that is Action Sports.A first of its kind, a battle of fitness, endurance, and action sports… Best of all $10,000 for the winner. The race consisted of 4 laps around a course designed to showcase the beautiful city of Hallandale Beach, FL.

The race started and finished at The Village of Gulfstream Park featuring a tour through Hallandale’s beautiful neighborhoods, and the world famous Gulfstream Park and Casino.

Although not in the top 10 to watch announced at the beginning of the race, an awesome showing by the Bustin Boards team that traveled all the way down from Brooklyn, NY placed 9 out of the top 10 racers and race winner Jeff Vyain set a new world marathon record – smashing the old record by about 4 minutes.  The unofficial Marathon Longboard record is now 1:41.  Thats averaging 15+mph for 26 miles.

On November 11 & 12, ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida will be taking part in the Yacht Rendezvous event at Rybovich Marina.  The Yacht Rendezvous in Palm Beach is an extraordinary yachting experience at one of the world’s most renowned cruising destinations. Invited guests enjoy four days and nights of festivities that range from cocktail parties, yacht hops, fashion shows, costume party and much more!

ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida will provide guests with an exciting Photo Booth experience as well as unlimited photos with custom event graphics to remember their visit!

Each annual Rendezvous celebrates a different theme, yet the goal remains the same: to have a great time while making a difference in the South Florida community by generating financial support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Celebrate with participating yacht owners and hundreds of guests who will spend three days in November partying and raising money for the youth of Broward County. With luxurious auction items, celebrity guests and entertainment surprises, this year’s Rendezvous will be as memorable as those in the past.

Additional Rendezvous events include late night drinks and entertainment at The Flagler Museum with entertainment by Mark Rivera’s New York State of Mind featuring members of The Billy Joel Band and Wade Preston.  A Formal Ball hosted by honorary chairs Mr. and Mrs. Donald J Trump at Mr. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago private club with entertainment provided by The Blues Brothers featuring Dan Ackroyd and James Belushi.
