ShutterBox Entertainment South Florida is proud to announce that we will team up with Costa for 4 days at the 2012 Miami International Boat Show.  Florida’s largest annual event spans three locations—the Miami Beach Convention Center, Sea Isle Marina and Yachting Center and Miamarina At Bayside—and features more than 3,000 boats and 2,000 exhibitors from all over the globe. There’s no better place to preview the new boating season!

About Costa: In 1983, a group of hardcore fishermen who spent their days exploring the globe and battling extreme elements came to realize that the sunglasses they were relying on weren’t as hardcore as their adventures. Seeing the world in absolute clarity and protecting their eyes was a must. So when they couldn’t find worthy sunglasses, they decide to build their own. And Costa was born.  After all these years and all these adventures, the mission has never wavered: to create the clearest sunglasses on the planet for life’s great adventures.

ShutterBox Photo Booth will be on site from February 16-19, 2012 to provide boat show guests with customized Costa Photo Booth as well as customized Costa photos, a great souvenir from the 2012 event.  Please make sure to stop by Booth 3409 – Convention Center – Outside Boats to see what’s out there from Costa and get your souvenir picture!

ShutterBox is back for our 3rd consecutive year at the 2012 Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival.  After producing over 8,000 branded photos for Bing in 2011, we are excited to expand our partnership and provide this great experience and souvenir to more festival goers at even more events.  ShutterBox will provide unique custom graphics and creative layouts for each individual event including some layouts never seen before at ShutterBox events, debuting specially for the festival.

The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE is a national, star-studded, four-day destination event showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. Hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University(FIU), the festival benefits FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center. Round up your competitive spirit, put on your party pants and locate your most seaworthy paddle vessel because it’s about that time for the 2nd Annual The Big Heart Paddle. Improvements for this year’s event include more race categories, more race prizes, and our first “Team Paddleboard Challenge”.

For those unfamiliar with The Big Heart Paddle, it is a Miami Beach paddleboard event and party that aims to provide a fun and engaging way for the residents of South Florida and the surrounding areas to support a special children’s organization, the Bravery Beads™ Foundation.

Corinne and Darren Enkin are the creative and generous hearts behind Bravery Hearts, and Breavery Beads™ Foundation. Corinne designed and produced the signature Bravery Hearts necklace that has been glamming up the necklines of everyone from Hannah Montana to Madonna. The jewelry supports the Bravery Beads™ Foundation, an organization that implements their Bravery Beads™ Program into pediatric hospitals throughout the country. A program that improves the lives of over 10,000 children each year who are battling cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

The Big Heart Paddle Launches from the shores of Miami Yacht Club on Saturday September 24, 2011. Races will consist of a 3 & 5 mile race with a men’s and women’s division for each race. The first race of the day will be the 5 mile race which will begin at 9:30 a.m.  The Miami Yacht Club is located on the MacArther Causeway behind Jungle Island. Established in 1972 they host numerous competitive boat races and regattas year round. Their facilities, race resources and proficiency in boat race operations make them an ideal venue partner for The Big Heart Paddle.  On September 24, 2011 Miami Yacht Club will be transformed into a paddleboard race and event space filled with people, music sponsors and vendors. Our team is working to make sure the design and functionality of the space is efficient and ideal for an amazing experience.

The 5 mile race is the elite race and welcomes all competitive race boards so long as they are stand up paddleboards. Only have a stock SUP but still want to race among the 5 mile cheetahs? Dare to dream, young Hercules and remember, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.” You will likely get smoked, but there’s some honor in knowing that.

The 3 mile race does not allow race boards, only stock boards that are 12.5″, and though the there may not be any world record breaking during the 3 mile race, you can rest assured that it will be highly competative with many winning streaks, bar tabs, and bragging rights on the line among friends. Want to compete but don’t have a board of your own? Not a problem, boards will be provided for race entries that don’t have their own at no additional cost.

Co-producing the 2011 event are Christian Tenekedes of NICH Miami and Rob Zucker of ShutterBox Photo Booth.  In addition to NICH Miami and ShutterBox Photo Booth, current sponsors include Jonathan Babicka, owner of Primp Salon in South Beach; Doraku Sushi; Saint and Sinner Wine.

You’re invited to join ShutterBox South Florida as The David Clowney Foundation will host its 3rd Annual Celebrity Weekend June 3-5, 2011 in South Florida.  The weekend will consist of a celebrity basketball game, free youth football camp and a bowl-a-thon.  Proceeds from the weekend will benefit two college-bound seniors from Atlantic High School as well as the David Clowney Foundation.

The David Clowney Foundation’s primary goal is to touch as many hearts as possible and to ultimately provide the stepping stones on which a better life can be built for the underprivileged youth beginning with South Florida and eventually reaching the rest of the World.

From March 8 – 13, 2011 ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida is excited to partner with The World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship being played at Doral Golf Resort & Spa.  ShutterBox Photo Booth South Florida will be on site with photo booths for tournament events all week.

TPC Blue Monster at Doral has been a storied venue on the PGA TOUR for many years. Its newly resurfaced greens will provide a great test of golf for the best players in the world.  Past winners of this event include Ernie Els, Tiger Woods, Geoff Ogilvy and Mike Weir.

The World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship is one of four World Golf Championships sanctioned and organized by the operational committee of the International Federation of PGA Tours, which includes the Asian Tour, European Tour, Japan Golf Tour, PGA TOUR, PGA Tour of Australasia and Southern Africa Tour. The other World Golf Championships include the Accenture Match Play Championship, Bridgestone Invitational and HSBC Champions.

The Blue Monster features long fairways, undulating green, a deep Bermuda rough and a unique assortment of water hazards. The famous 18th hole, with its signature fountain, was ranked by GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 100 Holes in the World.
