Event & Arena Marketing Conference 2010 Chicago

The 30th annual Event & Arena Marketing Conference kicked off this week in Chicago. Sponsored by Ticketmaster & Stars on Ice, attendees & event planners from all over the country were treated to a fun evening of food, drinks, music & mingling at Navy Pier’s Beer Garden.

Yelpers @ the Brick House Tavern & Tap

Our friends at Yelp were at it again this week, hosting a special event at Brick House Tavern & Tap in Niles, Il. The fun was in full throttle for the many Yelpers & their guests who enjoyed the awesome spread of sandwiches and appetizers, microbrews & cocktails. ShutterBox Chicago was onsite, taking tons of photos that included customized graphics.

It was great to see all of our Yelp friends again! Thanks for the lunch box. We look forward to the next one!

Yelp Gets Bowled Over!

April 14, 2010

This past Tuesday, members of Yelp’s Elite Squad were treated to an evening of bowling, food, drinks & fun while mixing it up with other Yelpers at Pinstripes in Northbrook, Il. Guests of the event had free reign of Pinstripes 50,000 square foot facility, including their amazing Bocce Ball court. The amazing staff kept the wine flowing and the buffet table stocked with delicious pizza and flat breads.

As one elite yelper put it, “The shutterbox photo booth was the biggest hit of the night and I have great compliments for them because the quality of the pictures was one of the best I’ve seen..”

Lance Briggs for Kidz “A Reason to Dream”

Founded by Lance Briggs of the Chicago Bears, Briggs4Kidz is a non-profit organization that raises funds to help alleviate the emotional and financial struggles of todays poverty stricken youth in Chicago. Briggs4kidz most recent charity event, “A Reason to Dream”, was held at Lumen in Chicago. The star-studded event featured past and present members of the Chicago Bears, including Brian Urlacher and Julius Peppers, members of the Detriot Lions, Boston Celtics, VH1 reality stars, singers and sports commentators.

In addition to the spectacular sports memorabelia auction, guests were treated to an open bar, dancing and music, and a rare chance to mingle with the many sports legends.

ShutterBox returns to Dancing with Chicago Celebrities…

ShutterBox Entertainment  is honored to return to the 5th anuual “Dancing With Chicago Celebrities” benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure-Chicago.

Dancing With Chicago Celebrities is an annual star-studded charity ball presented by Arthur Murray in Chicago to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. Once again this year , all net proceeds will be donated to the Chicagoland affiliate of Susan G. Komen For the Cure.

The Fifth Annual Dancing with Chicago Celebrities will take place Friday, March 12, 2010, featuring some wonderful Chicago celebrities who are taking to the dance floor to join the fight against breast cancer.  And, we’re thrilled to welcome to Chicago professional judge Nick Kosovich from ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and Snow Urbin from “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Join us and many of our sparkling alumni including 2006 Champion Rick Bayless, world-reknowned chef from Frontera Grill, 2008 Champion Dina Bair from WGN, 2008 competitor, ABC’s own Roz Varon, and welcoming back as emcee , Nick Kosovich from Dancing with the Stars. This years competitors include Valerie Warner, Melissa Foreman, Gale Sayers, Erin O’Connor, & Mancow.

Heavy snow fall and sub zero windchill didn’t stop Google from throwing an amazing holiday bash this week in Chicago.  Google’s party theme was ‘Ice Hotel’, and we designed custom photo strips to match.   We were happy to be part of the event and provide such special keepsakes for Google’s staff & friends.

Windy City Ski & Snowboard Show with Oakley

oakleygraphics ShutterBox Entertainment partnered with Oakley for the 2009 Windy City Ski & Snowboard Show! This year’s event brought out the industry’s top manufacturers for 3 days of exciting demos & give-aways.

For this event, ShutterBox created an Oakley branded photo booth, which proved to be a show stopper. Guests had a great time snapping photostrips wearing the latest Oakely goggles.
